For the Farmers

Thank you for your interest in getting involved! You are the primary elements of the Canadian textile system. You tend the land and your animals; providing the care that is essential to the production of wool and textile fibre. 

We work with farmers in several ways. 

1-We occasionally pay cash for raw wool. This depends on breed, quality and condition of the wool.

2-We take raw wool as trade for finished yarn (when your own batch is ready). You get the benefit of our yarn design and labeling. You can use the yarn yourself or sell it in your local farm shop. We sell the rest in ours. 

3-We match farms with wholesale buyers and designers who want to pair with a specific farm. 

4-We teach farmers how to prepare their wool for milling and advise them on how and where to process their wool.
