Hazel

Hazel is soft, smooth, round and luxurious with a slight halo. The undyed colour is a cool buff/grey colour.

3 ply light worsted weight. 

Made from 50% Canadian alpaca blended with 45% wool from our own romeldale sheep and 5% fibre from our Angora rabbits .

10 wraps per inch

Gauge: 19-21 stitches per 10 cm on 3.75-4.75mm needles.

Recommended projects: hats, sweaters, mitts. Shows lacework texture well. Would make a lovely weaving yarn as well. (contact us for put-up on cones in larger quantities.

Dyed colours are semi-solid. We dye our yarns in small batches by hand and some of the natural colour shows through. We have washed and rinsed our dyed yarns in order to remove any excess dye. Some running may occur caused by differences in water mineral content. 

Hand wash, gentle or no soap and DO NOT agitate or change water temperature.
